Hey there Rich... Great picture! I know why you are smiling, what I am unclear about is why does the crab seem to be smiling too?
That looks like a tasty dinner. I miss living up there the marine life is amazing.
Get out the Old Bay Seasoning I'm on my way!
He looks awfully close to your face!! But might tasty!
Rich: Ewwwww. And also... EEK ! I have no clue whatsoever HOW you can DO that... ! OMG. That would just make me crazy... well, ok... crazier ! But... if it makes you happy... I guess it's ok, LOL.
Great catch! I am sure it was delicious! You must have had a great day!
Hi Rich-That sure is up close and personal. It is a big one. Great photo. <SMILE>
That is one huge crab Rich....we wouldn't be holding it that close to our face either!
One of these days I'm just going to have to come up and pay you to take me out. I love crab, but have never ventured out to capture them or maybe we can make a trade... Crab for Salmon?

Nothing beats the real thing, Rich! Tonight I had a couple of crab cakes from Albertson's warmed up in the microwave.
Break out that boiling pot of water....
Hi Rich, gosh it has been a while. I love the name of your blog. "Singing in the Rain".It just makes one feel good to even read the title. As for that crab, it looks like he would like to get ahold of your nose or your eye, good thing you have glasses. LOL.
Holy moley! That is one big crab... and some good eating! So did you eat it? Did you? Did you? Huh? Huh? LOL How was it?
Lisa: Oh, Yeah!!!!!....with some fava beans and a nice Chianti....ssssslllluuuuurrrrpppp!!!!!.....
William: Equally nice to see your face pop up here! I trust all is well in your neck of the woods?....
John: I'd love to cook you a batch of my own special crab cakes. Very moist and scrumptious!....
Todd: You're always welcome to come up any ole' time. The season is open til Jan. 2nd, so bring some warm clothes!...
HIIIIII Rich!!!!!! Just came by to say hi and see your crab :)
That's one good lookin crab, Rich! I was catching crabs by the time I turned 6. I introduced my husband to the fine art of cooking fresh crabs about 14 years ago and he's now about as good at it as I am. You just gotta luv a man who loves crab!

Nice Catch Rich! What happened to the brim of your hat? Looks like old crabby got his pinchers into it! John
Rich,
AR members' mouths are already watering. What a juicy-looking individual you got there. A few more of those and you could live for a week.
Luv the Hat and the Smile! Tells me all I need to know.
Rich,
I used to catch crabs out in Bellingham bay but have not done so in years now.
Rich - now THAT looks like a happy camper. You, not the crab. Would be great fun to have a cook off to see whose crab cakes are the best! OF course the eating is the best part.
